The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled, versatile, and highly capable Mobile App Developer who specializes in building complete, standalone applications natively in both Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android), alongside proficiency in Flutter.

This role is for a true polyglot mobile engineer. You must be completely comfortable dropping cross-platform frameworks to build applications entirely the “native way” from the ground up when projects demand deep hardware integration, computer vision processing, LiDAR/ToF sensor access, and maximum performance.

You’ll work closely with Computer Vision engineers, AI/ML teams, Product Managers, and Design teams to develop scalable, accurate, and production-ready applications for enterprise and healthcare use cases.

What You’ll Own

• Design, develop, test, and maintain fully native, standalone applications built entirely in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) without relying on cross-platform frameworks.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for appropriate projects.

• Build robust and seamless communication between Flutter and Native layers using MethodChannels and Platform Channels when utilizing a hybrid approach.

• Build purely native applications that leverage both Apple’s LiDAR/ARKit and Android’s ToF/ARCore sensors to extract and process 3D depth data, spatial information, and point clouds.

• Work directly with native camera APIs (AVFoundation on iOS and Camera2 API/CameraX on Android) to capture and process high-resolution camera frames and buffers for AI model inference.

• Integrate and deploy custom Machine Learning models natively using both Core ML (iOS) and TensorFlow Lite (Android).

• Translate complex business requirements and UI/UX designs into functional, scalable, and intuitive mobile applications natively.

• Implement scalable application architecture natively using MVVM, Clean Architecture, and established mobile design patterns specific to both the Apple and Google ecosystems.

• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness natively, particularly for heavy image, video, depth, and sensor-data processing.

• Implement local data storage and secure data handling using native technologies such as Core Data (iOS) and Room (Android).

• Collaborate closely with AI/ML and Computer Vision engineers to integrate advanced algorithms into mobile applications.

• Support end-to-end application deployment and releases through both App Store Connect and Google Play Console, including code signing and provisioning profiles.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3–6 years of professional experience in Mobile Application Development.

• Proven ability to build complete, complex mobile applications from scratch using purely native toolchains (Xcode/Swift and Android Studio/Kotlin).

• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart for building cross-platform applications.

• Strong experience bridging Flutter to native codebases via Platform Channels.

• Proven experience working directly with native spatial computing frameworks including both ARKit (iOS) and ARCore (Android).

• Experience interacting natively with hardware-level sensors such as LiDAR, ToF, TrueDepth cameras, and gyroscopes.

• Deep familiarity with handling raw camera buffers and video streams directly through native APIs (AVFoundation, CMSampleBuffer, and Camera2 API).

• Strong understanding of native state management, application lifecycles, and memory management for both iOS and Android ecosystems.

• Hands-on experience integrating REST APIs and JSON-based services natively.

• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

• Experience publishing apps independently to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including managing certificates and provisioning profiles.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, especially related to spatial logic and native hardware constraints.

Good to Have

• Experience with OpenCV for mobile natively in C++/Swift/Kotlin.

• Knowledge of spatial mathematics, 3D geometry, coordinate systems, or point-cloud processing.

• Experience with modern native UI frameworks: both SwiftUI (iOS) and Jetpack Compose (Android).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and mobile application deployment automation.

• Previous experience building healthcare, medical imaging, measurement-based, or enterprise applications.

• Confidently switch between building purely native apps (Swift/Kotlin) and cross-platform apps (Flutter) depending on the architectural needs of the project.

• Deliver high-quality, stable, and scalable mobile applications across all three paradigms (Native iOS, Native Android, Flutter).

• Build accurate and reliable features using LiDAR, ToF, AR frameworks, and device-level sensors natively across both OS ecosystems.

• Ensure efficient processing of image, video, depth, and point-cloud data natively.

• Take absolute ownership of technical challenges and confidently write complex native code to solve real-world measurement problems.
